Being self-employed is no joke when you're looking
for a mortgage or re-mortgage, as more and more people
are finding at present. There are real benefits and
a degree of satisfaction to be gained from working
for yourself, but the downside of the situation is
that, all too often, lenders treat self-employed applicants
very circumspectly.
Fortunately, there are other lenders,
more enlightened and realistic, who treat self-employed
people as the valued customers they should be. All
you have to do is find these lenders. Unfortunately,
the chances of you doing so are so slim as to be almost
negligible.
Expert help is needed, but, wherever
you turn, the sources of such help are often potentially,
if not actually, biased by their commercial interests
or limited by ties to specific lenders or insurers.
Many 'independent' advisors are anything but that,
while individual lenders (when you can find them)
will only offer their own products, as you would expect.

Without ties of any sort, with the
entire UK mortgage market available for us to search,
and our income being fees paid by our clients, we're
very different to your usual source of 'help'.
- We recommend only the mortgage
that best suits you, our
client, because we have nothing to gain by doing
otherwise.
- We talk to you,
to find out exactly what you need.
- We help you to sort out your
plans and priorities,
so that, when we search the market for the right
mortgage, we know that the one we recommend will
give you the best possible deal.
- We're constantly reviewing the
whole market, so we've
already identified quite a few mortgage deals that
offer self-employed people some very attractive
facilities.
- It's possible that one will
suit you down to the ground,
but we won't recommend even one of those without
first talking to you in detail, then searching the
whole market, just in case there's something better
available.
Contacting
us costs you nothing, but it could gain you a great
deal.
