Why should I pay a fee when I can go to a lender direct and pay nothing?

If you could find the best lender, that's precisely what you should do. However, your chances of finding the best lender and the best mortgage, from the thousands available, are very slim. Some of the best mortgages are offered by lenders who have no High Street presence, or who have only a few branches in a small area. The difference between the best mortgage and others not so good can be thousands of pounds.
Don't forget, we guarantee to save you at least double our fee anyway. Click here to go to our basic guarantees.

Why shouldn't I use an intermediary that doesn't charge a fee?

Some intermediaries don't charge a stated fee, it's true, but you should bear in mind the fact that intermediaries are all in business to make profits. If they don't charge you a fee, they'll certainly be making profits somewhere, and that's almost certainly from lenders' commissions. That being the case, they'd be less than human if they weren't inclined to recommend the lenders offering the highest commissions, who are not necessarily the providers of the best mortgages. Because we charge you a fee, we're not dependent on commissions, so we can, and do, recommend only the mortgage that gives you the best possible value and facilities.
Don't forget, we use lenders' commissions to reduce the fee we charge. Click here for an explanation of the way we do that.

What happens if I make an enquiry through Regional Mortgages?

We take the basic information you've given us online and do a preliminary search of the market. Then we contact our nearest Consultant to you, who will telephone you and make an appointment to see you at your home, so that you can discuss your mortgage requirements in detail with a qualified specialist in the field, rather than attempt to have a conversation with a computer.
Don't forget, our Consultants are firmly on your side. They're not sales people in any shape or form. Their sole aim is to get you the best possible deal. Click here to go to our simple form.

How complicated is the procedure?

It isn't complicated at all. We sort out all the paperwork, the survey, the solicitor and everything else. All you need to do is tell us what you want and let us advise you. That's what you're paying us for.
Don't forget, you're dealing with people, not computers. We'll listen to any problems you may have and help you solve them. Click here to start the procedure easily.

What's this 'Money for Nothing' deal?

It's simple, really. Today, comparing the best mortgages available with the average sort of mortgage most people have, the difference in total cost is often thousands, even tens of thousands of pounds. So it's possible to switch a borrower from an average mortgage to the best available mortgage, raise extra cash and not increase the borrower's monthly outgoings or the time left to pay off the mortgage - in other words, without the borrower paying out any more money than they're paying already! If that isn't money for nothing, what would you call it?
Don't forget, the same difference between mortgages could also reduce the time you take to pay off your mortgage and own your home, saving you all the payments you would otherwise have made over the longer term. Click here to see some examples of what can be done by using a mortgage properly.

How many lenders are there?

There are over 300 lenders. We can deal with any of them on your behalf. That's why we're officially qualified to give 'full advice and recommendation' to our clients, rather than the limited information and advice available from intermediaries who deal only with a limited number of lenders.
Don't forget, we're one of the very few intermediaries who deal with the whole market. Click here to see our list of lenders.
